FSB - The Community Partner

Farmers State Bank (FSB) has generously invested over $350,000 into Linn-Mar K-12 classrooms and programs through its partnership with the Linn-Mar School Foundation. FSB funds and sponsors the Enhance Linn-Mar Educators grant, giving over $25,000 to Linn-Mar educators yearly for classroom needs. Learn more about the Enhance Linn-Mar Educators grant by visiting the grant webpage.

FSB has supported the Linn-Mar School District since 1948 when the district organized 17 one-room schoolhouses into a consolidated district (then known as Marion Rural Independent School District). The partnership has continued to flourish over the years, as FSB supports many Linn-Mar initiatives in addition to the Foundation, with direct sponsorships of programs, support of student organizations, volunteer support, and staff appreciation events.

FSB actively participates in countless local events, initiatives, and philanthropic activities. By being present and engaged in community affairs, FSB contributes to the overall well-being, vibrancy, and economic development of the Marion community, creating jobs, fostering entrepreneurship, and improving its members' quality of life. FSB's heritage, dating back to the early 1920s, represents a part of Marion's identity. It creates a sense of pride and connection among Marion residents as they recognize FSB's longstanding presence and contribution to the local economy.

Linn-Mar extends a sincere thank you to our friends at FSB for supporting educational excellence for our area students. FSB's tireless work and philanthropic efforts support the communities they serve each day.

"As a family-owned bank, our focus has always been to support and strengthen the communities we serve, and one of the most rewarding ways to do that is through our longstanding financial commitment to the Linn-Mar School Foundation. It is truly an honor and privilege to support the educational excellence that Linn-Mar schools continue to deliver year after year."
