Mary Sult has spent her career helping educators and organizations grow. From the classroom to higher education leadership, her work has focused on developing people, strengthening systems, and creating opportunities for meaningful learning.

Today, Mary serves as the Institute for Educational Leadership Director at the University of Northern Iowa, supporting leadership development and professional learning for educators across Iowa. Her experience spans K–12 education, higher education, instructional technology, and leadership development. She holds a B.A. in English Education from UNI, an M.A. in Educational Technology from San Diego State, and both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Drake University.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Dustin, and son, Logan. She believes that strong relationships, thoughtful leadership, and a commitment to lifelong learning create the foundation for lasting impact in education and the communities we serve.
